Open letter to David Cameron

Dear Prime Minister,

Thank you for your very kind and generous offer. I have in the past received equally, indeed even more, generous offers from innumerable bank executives, located mostly in Burkina Faso. In my early years of networking I responded to one by furnishing the details sought, only to learn that I had to deposit through my Visa card $1000 before acquiring the promised millions offered to me. A rapid change of my password saved me from what undoubtedly would have been damaging pecuniary loss. However, those memories became irrelevant after receiving your letter which I am sure will impose no such stringent preconditions for me to avail of your kind offer. As to the genuineness of your offer I have no doubt especially since you have also taken into confidence your Foreign Minister, Mr. William Hague. I know that by revealing the contents of your kind offer I will forego receiving the millions you have offered to me. But my pride for being thus honoured personally by the Prime Minister of Britain was too great. I simply had to share this honour with the rest of the world. For the benefit of the world I publish your letter alongside. Applauding this bold and unprecedented initiative undertaken by a British Prime Minister,

I remain,
Yours sincerely,
Rajinder Puri
