Last Hope

Workshop # 1

Shriveled...
I hang in there
My last hope of life
strung to the stem
tendrils entwined,

Suddenly..
a brisk of wind,
to swoop me away…?
I,
Holding...clutching...
Fluttering...

Not yet!
My time would come
And then would I,
fly away in oblivion...
