I thought I would dedicate something "special" to you.
As always, whenever I feel mushy-mushy on all such days, I gift you one
of my very cherished, heart-felt, love-letters.
It is "special" in its own special way - for it tells you today - how
very much I love living my life with you.
How very much I feel blessed and honored having a husband like you.
And my love, it is not only this day, for you know and I know, there
have been many such days in-between these annual Valentine Days, I've
whole-heartedly expressed how very much I love the lovable, the adorable
person in you, the wonderful human-being in you, whom God has gifted me
as my life's mate - my friend - my Best Friend - the truest friend of my
life - I've ever had in all these years...
And my love, I feel grateful to you and thankful to God for having given
me such a peace-loving home of love and care...where we stay and share -
the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows, of life's numerous packages -
that life bestows on us - and in all its good times, peace reigns
supreme. And even when there are storms brewing, we know that we'll win
it over and secure our place - our haven of peace and togetherness.
My love, this Valentine's Day for Love and Friendship, I dedicate not
only to you, but also to our dear, dear children - our Moma and our
Kochi, the most precious possessions of our conjugal life, we take pride
in them. We cherish them, we nourish them, we see them as God's prizes
awarded to us by Law of Nature.
We pray and we wish that they always remain precious and prized to
Mother Nature, being taken care of by the good people, by the samaritans,
by the "invisible" guardian angels, by the real citizens of the world,
who would let them live in peace and harmony sans any bias nor
prejudice, with the right to live in dignity on this Blessed Earth.
So my valentine wishes go out to them - my precious, little children,
for they are also my friends (and luckily, I happen to be their Best
Friend, as my son so proudly says and his mother's pride inflates !) and
of course, needless to say, I love them too.
So let this Valentine's Day be one of those very many special days, we
celebrate almost every week, every month, every year - for this home
overflowing with love and understanding...always makes us feel so very
rooted to our Nest - and though Love doesn't need any special reason,
any special day to celebrate, and no special words can ever describe the
pious feeling of love that we feel inside - and yet, and yet because it
is Valentine's Day today, let me say it to you, my love - if it makes
you feel re-assured and loved as ever before...
That I love, I love you, I love you
And of course, I love my children too.
And so my valentine wishes go out to you, and to my Moma and my Kochi -
to our whole family including myself (?!) - and I am sure our love and
friendship would make us celebrate many, many more Valentine's Days,
together in this home-ship, sailing through the waves of Life, to the
faraway shores of life-long commitment - committed to each other -
committed to ourselves - till death does us part.
