For an outing
To go out for
Some shopping
With her school
Friends

All those five
Who make her
Feel alive :-)

She's never
Taken a bus ride
Without me

So I kept wondering

How will she be...
Where will she be

She might get
Abducted
She might get
Lost

A motherly worry
Kept nagging me....

But she came back
Confidently, having
Bought a necklace,
T-shirt and Milton's
Paradise Lost.

My little girl of fourteen
She's really grown up
To be a smart and sassy
Teen :-)
