World of Dreams

Another day has come to an end,
Some sleep to myself I should lend,
I lay myself on my bed,
Close my eyes when prayers have been said

I take a few minutes to think of my day
Tomorrow will be better, to myself I say
I never seem to know, when I fall asleep
Lost in my own world, so deep

The world where wishes and fantasies come true
The world where I'm happy and sometimes blue
Where all my prayers are answered for me
And unknown faces I can see

I see all I have, and all that I've lost
All that I am, and all that I was
I see where I'd like to be
And to be there for tonight, I am free

Sometime I seem to float in the air; sometime I float in space
Sometimes I'm in his arms, and it's such a right place
I stay with him till the end of time
Thanks to this sweet world of mine

Each time I'm here, I feel so alive
With tonight's help, tomorrow I survive
This world to me, is so special and unique
It's my strength when I am weak

To others it might be just a dream,
But it's the essence of my being..
