Life

Along the path of an endless night
Beyond the hour of twilight
Chariot of my tardy life
Deals with every colliding strife
Embracing the eternal or ephemeral
Facing life without any rehearsal
Guided by indefinable inner instinct
Heralding the unseen in succinct
Inheriting courage from nowhere
Journeying through the cosmic air
Knowing that life is simply irreversible
Living it to the extent possible
Moving along invisible pair of rails
Not leaving any shadows or trails
Overcoming encountered hurdles
Perceiving some unsolved riddles
Questioning life, its very purpose
Ratifying it in terse wordless prose
Silently singing lullabies in ample
Throughout the somnambulistic ramble
Understanding gist of unknown destiny
Veiled within unlit corridors of infinity
Welcoming events as they occur to thee
Xenolithic milestones though confuse me
Yet, yearning for the golden ray of hope
Zeal of life continues to unfold
