Your voice reaches out
To engulf me in gentle warmth
Pulling me from the realms of unknown
Wrapping me in s cocoon of safety
Making me light up in joy and
Arise with a smile meant just for you

Your eyes lull me into oblivion
Speaking volumes into deafening silence
Assuring me I am never alone
That I belong with you secure in
A place in your heart meant
Just for me

Your shoulders invoke
A special warmth within me
Acting as an anchor holding me steady
When I am cast adrift
Giving me an oasis to lean on
When I am in need of one
