Will You Be My Valentine? 

I am embarking on a journey
Will you be my companion?
Would you traverse to the height of mountains,
And depth of valleys with me?

Will you push me forward when I am disheartened
And hold me back when I am being reckless?
Will you hold my hand when the path turns acerbic
And rejoice with me when it turns utopian?

Will you weather the winds of change with me?
And trudge along with me when life is bleak?

The journey I speak of,
Is this life of mine
It holds all this and more
There are moments of euphoria
And days of sorrow
And aeons of pleasing monotony too.

Could you bear to be with me in this path?
Can you promise not to die together,
But rather live together?
Can you vow to be mine?
Will you be my valentine?
