I Am A Computer

I look like an idiot box,
But you know, without me,
In this concrete jungle,
You are completely lost.

I memorize your work,
You need to just browse.
Dawn to dusk,
To complete your task.

With a click you are linked
To the world unknown,
Unfolding mystery,
Internet – that’s how I am known.

My existence alongside you,
Is as phenomenal as you.
Although I am your creation,
Yet, I am the answer to all your interrogations.

But at times when my memory fails,
I am thrown aside like an undelivered mail.
My birth like you is always grand,
My end alas! Remains unsung.
