Closed Doors

She has been gone for a long time,
Though she left only moments ago.
Wondering how she could walk away,
With no emotion to show.
She said nothing, not one word
And walked on to close the door.
How can she so easily ignore?
Perhaps I should open it,
Merely to ask her why,
Through all the years and all the tears,
There is no decency of a reply.

A bit of anger dwells within
Because I don't understand.
How after all these years,
Could our friendship turn into a wasteland.
Full of so many different thoughts,
Thoughts I cannot deny.
She made us how we are,
So I have chosen to say good-bye.
