The Soul Doctor

He is my psychiatrist,
The doctor of my soul
His job is to make my brain and mind whole
As I was hit by a stroke
It made my body broke
It made my soul croak
Depression wrapped me like a dark vile cloak
I was at a loss
Not knowing whether I would ever revive from my stroke
The doctor of my soul took charge of my mind and brain
He jolted me with words of rain
Like electric shocks
His jolting expression
Made me shake off
My cloak of depression
From the ashes he made me rise
Like a Phoenix I rose
Peace came to my mind and soul
The doctor's words mended my brain whole
He poured on me many praises and
Words of consolation
Those words lifted me to the level of satisfaction
Now I call my psychiatrist an Avatar, my Healing Avatar
In mending my soul he is the star.
He is my Amitabh Bachchan, my John Wayne, my Uttam Kumar
In mending my soul he is the star,
My one and only Healing Avatar.
