A mischievous game of fate
That two poles collide
That were never meant to meet
Nor greet (as was your wish).

Worlds apart in thought
In body and mind
Heart and soul,
Said the world.

Worlds apart you made us be
Not acknowledging me,
When you came to know
You were my heart and soul.

And yet who else but fate to blame
If these two worlds meet
Unwillingly, near the Nescafe counter,
Going opposite ways as usual
With the world crowded enough
To let only one of us go?
