believe me dear, I'll always be near.

Whenever you need a shoulder to cry
I'll be there before your tears dry.
Whenever you need a secret to share
believe me dear, I'll always be here.
Whenever you feel depressed
no need to be upset.
I'll heal your wounds, and be by your side
I'll make you sleep, though I may weep
knowing not what may come.

I'll surrender my soul, to your delight
I'll lay my heart at your feet.
I'll make your dreams come true
give me a chance and you'll see them bright.
Whenever you need an understanding friend
believe me dear, I'll always be the one.
Whenever you need a patient listener
I'll be there, no need to fear.

Time may fly, my devotion will be the same.
Oceans may dry, my affection will be the same.
All your sorrows will drown in my overflowing love.

Come what may I'll always be there
believe me dear I'll always care.
Come what may I'll always be here
believe me dear I'll always be near.
