Question 1065
Hi, I have heard that there is a specific place according to Vastu where you can place Ganesha idol, if yes where is it ?
Thanks
Vivek, October 15, 2006

Idols are best placed in the northeast area of the house. – Michael Borden, December 6, 2006

Question 1064
Hi Michael, I would like to know some aspects about buying a house in a corner block which is a triangular shape land.
The approaching road comes a from south east corner and then gets divided into two roads, one heads towards north and other towards north east direction. The subject land is situated between these two roads. Entry to the house is from the road which is heading towards north. I have been consulting few books regarding Vastu shashtra, and most of them suggest avoiding triangular shape land. what are your thoughts?
– Amita Maharjan, October 15,2006

If the road comes directly at the land it is not recommended. Triangular shaped land is not recommended if it must be walled at the property line. If it is large lot and you can create a square or rectangular boundary within, then it might be ok.  – Michael Borden, December 6, 2006

Question 1063
Dear Sir, I got your reference from one of my contacts. I have 2-3 questions on Vastu: (1) We are presently cooking facing south, we can at best change it in such a way that we face west while cooking. Please advise which is better; (2) Our Godrej cupboard is on the North wall, which means we keep money or take out money facing North. Which way we should face ideally? We can have this cupboard shift on South wall. (3) Our temple is in bedroom, we face south while worshipping. What should be done ideally? Please respond per return e-mail. I appreciate your time and cooperation. Thanks and Best Regards,
Sushil Pawaskar, October 14, 2006

West would be better for cooking than South. Godrej cupboard is fine. Have Deity face east. – Michael Borden, December 6, 2006

Question 1062
There is a big mirror in my apartment living room that faces the entrance door. We asked our apartment lease officer to remove the mirror, but she said that would simply destroy the wall, therefore, she can't do it. My husband is a strong believer in Vastu, and he believes our increasing expenses are due to this mirror. How can we create a positive energy in our apartment? Is there any changes that we can do? Please, email us. Thank you.
– Anu Bhandari, October 14,2006

Vastu science has no restrictions for mirrors. You are creating your own problems with worry. Don't worry about the mirror. – Michael Borden, December 6, 2006

Question 1061
Where should a horse shoe be hung according to Vastu shastra?
– Honey, October14, 2006

This has nothing to do with Vastu Science. Ignore it. – Michael Borden, December 6, 2006
