Shore
of Silence
 On
the shore of silence
a droplet of thought
sneaks into my mind.
The thought begets another,
another thought begets
yet another.
On and on and on
the multiplication
continues unchecked.
Soon I am drowned in
an ocean of them
unable to experience
the beauty of the
plain and simple truth
as it is and
for what it is
craving and yearning to
reach and return to
the shore of silence.
