Spring Do Not Tarry
Awaken oh mother earth
Do not tarry in thy slumber
Bring forth thy colors from gray
To fiery hues
Abundant in glorious colors
Birds singing in symphony
To thy rebirth
Warmth of thy love
Rekindling the mirth that vanished
By thy absence
Your departure left the earth so sullen
In a glazed look of summer's haze
In frost bitten trance, winter's romance
Winds whisper of harsh bitterness
Return us to better days
Sharing with us thy wondrous gaze
And sweet promise of eternal love.
