Baru Gobira

Baru Gobira, 53, is a widely traveled Indian writer based in Hyderabad. He began writing poetry in 2001. Some of his poems written in 2004, have been accepted and published in 5 different Anthologies brought out by Anchor Books of Forward Press Ltd. [UK] & in quite a few American Poetry Review Journals, during 2004. The themes reflect a poet’s struggle, the moods of life, the dark feelings failure generate & poignantly mirror the pains of separation. The poet is currently working on a metaphysical theme, that seek to portray “thought” as a potent entity in the search for the mystery surrounding life itself. Over 300 poems find a home in his books, Penn Rain, The Cradle Swings, A Garland of Moons & A Wanderer’s Thirst. He is currently engaged in co-authoring a narrative non-fiction biography tentatively titled Kousy –Story of a Juvenile Diabetic. It is based on his wife’s 36 year struggle with Juvenile Diabetes, which has scarred and impacted, both their lives & those who love them most.
