Workshop

Just Justice

Workshop # 17

Does God’s world have a balance?
A difficult question…
The Sun and the Moon
Dawns and Dusks
The rhythm goes on
But for some…
There are no sun rises
It’s an ever dark world
A sea of black
But the seafarer rows on
Never saying ‘die’:
Holding an image of his self in his heart
A picture of dignity and divinity
Trying to maintain a balance
Of determination and optimism
Wielding the sword of tenacious defence
Ready to fight against the odds of time
Not letting the snake’s venom
Reach his soul
Head held high
With the ‘sight of vision’
He moves on
All set to conquer the worlds
Never sues God for his fate
But continues to hold the scales
Inspiring those who can see
To ‘see’ and empathize
The smiling seafarer
Moves ahead…

(The poem is dedicated to the visually challenged heroes in this world who live in the ‘light’ of their darkness.)
