Panchakarma

Panchakarma is mainly detoxification therapy consisting of

  • Vaman - Emesis
  • Virechan - Purgation
  • Basti - Medicated enema
  • Nasya - Inhalation therapy
  • Raktta mokshana- Blood letting

Panchakarma chikitsa is divided into 3 parts

  1. Purvakarma
  2. Pradhankarma
  3. Pashchatkarma
