Ten Points to Top the CBSE Tenth Board Exams

Education is a long test of endurance, hard work, patience and commitment. The Central Board of Secondary Education {CBSE} conducts the board exams for the students of class ten every year in the month of March. The Tenth Board exam is the first major exam that a student studying in the Indian educational system faces.  There are certain steps, which, if adopted by a student studying for the tenth boards, can lead to stupendous success.

  1. Read all chapters thoroughly. Don’t leave out the portions in the boxes and the fringes. Every line is important because multiple choice questions can be based on any portion from your syllabus.

  2. Prepare very short notes for every chapter. Note down the important points from your chapters. Keep in mind, the sequence of events and the continuity of actions.

  3. Be cool. Keep yourself stress free. Take a break of 10 minutes every one or two hours during your study. Listen to good music and take a short walk out in the open to recharge yourself.

  4. Don’t waste time on unnecessary arguments and quarrels. Be peaceful. When you are peaceful, you will be able to put in your best efforts.

  5. Revise each chapter a few times. It’s pertinent to revise the day before the exam because several research studies have proved that latest recalling helps us to remember better.

  6. Go through old question papers and try to understand the patterns of questions. Very often, the same questions are worded differently.

  7. Write clearly and neatly without blemishes or scratching out of words. Nothing impresses an examiner like good handwriting and neat presentation. Write the answer numbers clearly. Draw a line after each answer for clear differentiation.

  8. Proceed in the logical sequence while answering. Don’t skip sections. First, finish answering the multiple-choice questions, followed by the remaining questions. Don’t overwrite. Stick to the word limit. Precision is pre-eminent.

  9. Be focused during the exam. Don’t keep looking into the watch. Write at a steady speed.

  10. Be confident. Proper revision and preparation will give you the confidence to face the exams. Reach the venue of the exams on time with your hall ticket.

All the best!
