Workshop # 2
O' Self,
From all pervading Reality
The Formless and Infinite
You chose to become human entity
With name and form, small and finite;
In the Stone Age
You ran after the prey
With stone hammer and arrows
Eating raw meat and fish
Deeply entrenched in sorrows,
In the age of agriculture
You rested for a while
As the nature poured out
Grains after grains in style,
But again it was too much
For you to plough the land
With your wife and children
Tilling it with your own hand,
In such days of despondency
In the period of failure and defeat
You became inward looking
And came up with a historic feat!
You discovered the motion in the wheel
The symbol of progress, knowledge and zeal,
It drove chariots and carts
Became the basis for economic revival
And also the symbol of
Religious upheaval!Workshop # 2
