Workshop # 3
While we dance our last tune we remember,
of the warmth and comfort we have given.
The campfires with your laughing, singing
beneath the stars, marsh mellows, chestnuts
roasting upon the flames we created.
Lover's sitting in a cozy den, sipping wine,
caressing, loving, caring about nothing but
that moment of lust and passion,
for we were part of that flame.
Barbecues with fabulous smells and aromas
for we've been part of these creations as well.
To you we are mindless without thought,
but as the trees are alive so are we,
for we are but a small part of the tree.
But as you read this,
you will now know in your heart;
As we burn and dance
we extinguish our life for your joy.
