Veiled Elegance

Oh, damsel, why do you cover your features?
Adorned with such elegant beauty,
Yet, demure and bashful.
Will a flower shy away from nectar seeking bee?

Glorious spring flowers, fresh and vibrant
Rainbow colors and fragrant aroma,
Spring does not demur.
Does not the sun shine on such effervescence?

Bejeweled ankles and waist
Scantily dressed, yet concealing true grace
A blossom in the shadows, of black and white.
Will celebration of life and joy be impeded?

Your shyness is exciting and the torso is appealing.
Uncover your hands; unveil your face,
for the world to see,
So mere mortals can partake, and rejuvenate.
Is it the precious talisman, the bliss, much sought after?
