Had I written this blog before final results of 2^nd test match I would have been thought as more honest towards my views here. With 4/173, English were about to command the test match & we had almost lost control on the game that we made through consistent better performance is the 1^st four days. While going through the final bowling figures of India, we could see that there were only three pure bowlers & rest was either part timer or all-rounder. This was exactly what we were missing in our team for so many years. 
Success of Indian team in all formats in recent years is basically due to players capability, hunger for win & spirit of unity. But we could not continue performing at the same level after 2011 WC final win. Team members were still playing to win the matches but they were not giving their hundred percent in the process. Results depend on real performance on the ground & do not necessarily go in favor of the team which is stronger on paper. Guys, you need to fight on the field to win matches.
