Social media networks like Linked In have lost their credibility. Linked In doesn't have any mechanism to verify the credentials of those who are posting jobs on its site. So, fake job posts are created using fictitious sites and dubious names so that data can be collected about a candidate that can be sold across to all the networks and agencies desiring to send targeted offers for products and services. Even if the companies do exist, the HR executives are not qualified enough to screen the applications and respond in a professional manner. Think many times before you respond to any job posting on Linked In.
Beware...! Your data is being sold...Do not share your resume with unscrupulous job posters. Check the veracity of the job before responding to it.
