The service lane of houses A-1 to A-9 runs parallel to the Ring Road in Naraina Vihar and falls within the jurisdiction of the PWD. It was dug up at various points by the PWD for laying of Cement Concrete pipes and other miscellaneous work around a year and a half back. Inspite of various reminders to the PWD, the service lane has not been recarpeted causing inconvenience to the residents. The insenstivity of the PWD goes to the extent that a deep manhole at the beginning of the footpath on Ring Road lay without a cover for almost 8 months before the residents arranged to have it covered. The other one remains uncovered. It is requested to kindly have the service lane recarpeted immediately.
