Aamir Khan's Satyameva Jayate's first season with thirteen episodes ended today July 29, 2012 with the poem "Where the Mind is Without Fear" by Rabindranath Tagore.
Where the Mind is Without Fear by Rabindra Nath Tagore |
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high Where knowledge is free Where the world has not been broken up into fragments By narrow domestic walls Where words come out from the depth of truth Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit Where the mind is led forward by thee Into ever-widening thought and action Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake. |
Boloji covered all the thirteen episodes with detailed analysis by Prof. Shubha Tiwari,
Mr. G. Swaminathan, Dr. Kumarendra Mallick and Devavratan Kaundinya.
Never in the history of Indian TV has a show generated so much interest as Satyameva Jayate. In just three months, the Sunday morning show has become a national phenomenon. Statistics of the show abound. A national phenomenon, distributed in seven language, attracting near 500 million audience, the show greatly influenced by Aamir Khan's persona has made him appear as a savior or champion for the known yet neglected causes.
Subsequent to the airing of related episodes of the show, Aamir has testified before a committee of Parliament about the country's health care system, a personal meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to press for a government ban on the practice of human waste cleaning by human scavengers.
As much as I personally enjoyed the show on Star TV, I also enjoyed the analytical reviews by our writers to who I extend my personal thanks. I also wish to thank our readers for an excellent response. Given below are all the links for all our readers for quick reference and future reading:
