It’s term time again. My son, all of 12 years, is now in Class 8.
His school has re-opened after a 6 weeks long summer holidays.
He’s busy settling in…lots of new things to adapt to….new class, new teacher, new syllabus, new books, new uniforms (has outgrown his old ones) having grown taller ;-) new homework, assignments and class tests.
Back to school entails back to his busy academic schedule, trying to grapple with whatever new is taught in his diurnal timetable, be it French, German, English, ICT, PSE, RE, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Music, Art, Tech, P.E. etc.
Choc-a-bloc curriculum that doesn’t give him much respite to have his own free time, so he really looks forward to his half-term holidays, summer, winter and spring vacations.
Why am I writing all this to you?
Just an intro about what I’m going to share with you.
Whenever he enters a new term, we are presented with a new home-school link book.
It’s got some wonderful sayings to keep us going…
I always make it a point to read through and as has happened before, choose to share my favourites with you :-)
Doesn’t mean that I agree with all that is stated in each and every quote ‘quoted’ here, but surely, I find them interesting enough to make me wonder and ponder…
Here is the List – Happy Browsing :-)
