A Volcano

You, I and each one of us
represent a volcano,
the molten magma chamber
lies deep within us

It may have gems of love,
diamond of resoluteness,
unknown elements of wisdom,
kindness, peace and contentment

And who knows,
to contaminate these treasures
there may be specks of anger,
greed, lust and some other ore.

Yet when the volcano rises to erupt,
let the fire of love, water of wisdom,
glow of kindness, warmth of peace
flow from our heart to fill the vast earth.
