Mehendi

my mehendi1.jpg

The Mehendi in my hands was dark,
Was pure, was pretty, was stark,
But you couldn’t see it as you didn’t come,
You made me sad, you made me lonesome.

The Mehendi was nothing without you,
Rains of my eyes and pain it went through,
I did it specially to show you, my dear.
But unfortunately, you weren’t near.

The Mehendi wanted to be caressed,
By your love, it wanted to be blessed,
It wished your divine lips on it,
But very unluckily, we couldn’t meet.

The Mehendi craved for your compliments
It was full of passion and soft sentiments,
But it couldn’t get you and your attention,
As you weren’t there in the wedding mansion!
