Advantages of diverse perspectives
Lay the strong invincible foundation-
And will add new dimensions
On our profession, and education!
Moving beyond tolerance, and diversity
From ethnicity, that each of us bring-
Will enrich our Nation, along the way,
Where many ideas are going to spring!
Motivation can decrease rapidly
Through meaningless plans-
While sense of close friendship
Will bond the various clans!
Loneliness and alienation create
A negative impact in national vision-
While education to learn will maximize
The potential to broaden our mission!
Fundamental principle of inclusion stresses
The diversity with cohesiveness around us-
And goals of life will be felt fulfilled,
Without any tremor, hesitation, or fuss!
Well, as a cheerleader for the AAPI,
And their inalienable rights, I must confess-
About the need for laying the platform
To speak, to live, and nothing less!
Fortunately, in FAPAC, the horizons
Of striving for excellence are widening now-
With a better prospect of AAPI’s progress
Through science, and technical know-how!
So, let’s continue to focus assimilation,
And tolerance, to spark the rays of hope-
And celebrate “FAPAC 2012” to propagate
The prospects in our “alien kaleidoscope”!!
