Theme: Agony

Not In My Fate

My hometown has nothing now
For which I can eagerly wait,
So I am leaving her for a week,
As I realize love is not in my fate.

Though you are here, you are busy,
You don’t have any time for me,
Or should I say you’re not willing
To talk to me or meet up with me?

Whatever it is, you make me cry,
May be you like the tears in my eyes,
You make it awfully hard to live
The faster the time flies.

Strange it is that while you are here
I have to leave, couldn’t have been worse,
April will be like appalling instead of appealing,
Well, I think it is some kind of a curse.

Neither do I get Dad’s shoulders,
Nor Mom’s lap to lie in such a state,
I am lifeless, helpless without you
As I realize love is not in my fate!

Comment Remove the umbrella of sorrow, there shall be downpour of love... love is devastating, too! April, Eliot says, is the cruelest month, but I wish let there be flowers in your back garden when you return!!
