You overcome provocation
Thus can avoid trifles
As also ugly situations.
We live in a society
So extrovert
And out-worldly oriented
Hungry for publicity and success.
If you are silent
Be not surprised
To see others exploiting
Your toil, skill and brain
For their trivial achievement
As well as significant gain.
But above all this
If your friend
Or a loved one
Keeps a mystifying silence
At a distance
For infinite time
Without an apparent reason
Or a plausible explanation
It's really killing
Or shall I call it
The life's bane.
