Friendship

Distances do not matter,
Continents do not count,
Borders are not barriers,
Nor time can fade, leave alone tarnish.

Bondage built on belief,
Cemented through the childhood,
Strengthened by the second,
Matured by the minute.

Swarms of storms,
Steeled it for sure,
Hurricanes of hurdles,
Drowned out the despair.

We cherish and cheer,
As it flourishes further,
We hope and pray,
For it to last forever.
