Lovelorn

I lock my room and silently cry

I want to give it another try

To change my destiny as I wish

All my feelings I have to unleash.

I must tell you what you are to me

How helpless I am, can’t you see?

Friends call me ‘lovelorn’, do you know?

What I feel for you, how can I show?

You are my morning glory, my soulmate,

In you and in God I have complete faith.

I know, one day you’ll say you love me,

That day, the happiest girl I will be.

I crave to give you all the love I can,

Trust me it is enough for this lifespan.

I dream to drench you with endless kisses,

I want to fulfill all your secret wishes,

I can’t remain lovelorn for lifelong,

You are my only savior among the throng!
