Floating World

Buoyant philosophy, floating world;
Jade Warrior, lotus jewel;
Temple bells, moon washed stone;
Exquisite anguish, last magnolia;
Eyeliner’s glissando;
Anticipation: White teeth,
Reddened lips;
Long journeys, slow beginnings;
Untimely arrivals, wrong destinations;
Farewells, goodbyes;
Longing, emptiness;
Crow’s dirge, roadside death;
Her absence, your presence;
Separation, isolation;
Resolution, solitude

I wrote this just one month before my darling left this world. Was this a cosmic message warning me of my love's demise? Looking back on recent events I cannot remain untouched. I feel my spirituality growing as I draw more connections between the past and the present.
