Not all children are lucky enough to have amiable parents.
Their life moves on through their mom and dad's squabbles.
Fights that break out like tempests, flow like torrents,
Bitter wrangles that the day-to-day argument enables.
The kids grow up in this sadistic environment, scared.
Their innocence is lost in the hustle bustle of the family
Due to the clashes, the homely atmosphere gets flared.
They forget to live with composure and happily.
To their contrast, I am fortunate and blessed.
I have parents as loving and giving as both of you.
With unkind words never said, brawls never faced
Such lovable and congenial couples are truly few.
I thank God for bestowing me with you two dear.
You are the best dad and the best mom respectively.
Till your shadows are on my head I have no fear.
I am a bequeathed child honestly and affirmatively.
With your bottomless foster and everlasting care,
Unconditional love and selfless tenderness,
Altruistic affection and concern beyond compare,
I surrender to your warmth, your highness!
Thirty five long years of blissful relation you share.
Without fighting a single time in the extensive phase,
How persistent tolerance and incessant patience you bear!
You watch over each other in all possible ways.
Your endless sacrifices since my infantile nursery
Flabbergasts me, it's undeniable and hard to envisage.
Today since it's your 35th marriage anniversary
I am here to pay you my heartiest homage.
May God bless you and keep you healthy and well.
Your self-sacrificing nurture I always revere!
In unlimited merriment and joy may you dwell,
May you love one another in this way forever!
