Theme: Abstract

The Dust of Time and Tide

The picture wore a cover of dust.
The dust of time and tide unknown.
The palor stricken breath, cold and low
Fanned the dying fire, that outshone.

The agony sailed in the blue,
The crimson hue surged back alone,
It was my face that wore a cover of dust.
The dust of time and tide unknown.

Comment All faces have layers of dust on them, tai na? :) Some are apparent, some not so much! Very universal lines, these...

Comment "It was my face that wore a cover of dust.
The dust of time and tide unknown"
Since I can now face my face, and face I must,
Time is a River, nourishing the seed of hope sown
