There was a time
when the society around me
made me believe
that it is the younger ones generally
who are usually at fault;
the elder ones have huge experiences;
so they know what is correct
and what is not.
After traversing the whole path
I now know
correctness
or fault
is actually life's baggage.
Short cut, impromptu and urgent solutions
leave in its trail
future frankensteins
that have to be tackled
one day or the other.
Unaware, the younger ones fall prey
to their fate
they never imagined.
They are not to be blamed.
Their elders' sermons
were fast solutions
to carry on with their life.
Time will surely demand time
that could not be given
and it will extract its pound of flesh.
