From the ancient times immemorial
Society has always punished a rebel
Most of the rebels refuse allegiance
For a system, one owes obedience.
And love for that very reasons
Remains a rebel in all seasons
It seldom follows set practices
Contemporary law or any rules.
Love refuses to accept a region
Any cast, nationality or religion
Doesn't bother sex or age often
Or even one is a gay or lesbian.
These are indeed very tragic reasons
Why many lovers are at loss so often
For any society will seldom accept
If someone defies code of conduct.
But one thing is for sure while in love
It makes the person gold and humane
Full of compassion, empathy and care
Whether it remains a success or failure.
