The valleys cradle the river
And the sun beams kiss the peaks
All of nature breathes together
In a voice that heaves not speaks
The moon comes out yawning
To don the ink blue sky
And the sky birds make an arrow
As they hurtle by
The clouds are lost in formations
Playing as they go
But you engrossed with your work
Will you ever know?
The orange merges with purple
Across a dash of red
The dandelions know its time
To gently lay their head
The oceans brim over with passion
Full like a lover’s heart
Holding the seeds of creation
To the present from the start.
The sea is laughing and calling
But I’m dry as dry as a bone
For you’re always so busy working
That I see the wonders alone.
