Libido has such a stranglehold on men,
it takes such a long time to realize
the wisdom extolled by saintly men:
Brahmacharya, celibacy.
All around it is cacophony,
a market place of beauty,
adorning of women's looks,
display of her shapeliness, her desirability,
advertisement of men's manhood.
Should one immerse oneself
in pleasurable experiences,
or deprive oneself
for some ultimate pleasure,
talked mostly in cliches,
probably by those people
who would rather have
the best of both the worlds?
When the light goes off
every coward is prone to prove his manliness
which scoundrels do in daylight.
But history teaches
Sadhana is a must for every progress,
and for Sadhana
Brahmacharya is a must.
