Theme: Loneliness

Alone

It was in the deep dark forest,
The wild verdurous gloom.
The sound of dew oozing in silence
And my eyes drizzling within the window pane.
The fragrant bygone days
Surge back the hidden tune.
More I suffer, more my love enlivens.
Solitude is bliss; I craved for it....

But alone I stand and live.

Comment i asked you to see a paint of acrylic on canvas, namely
'alone', the poem is truly revealing the underline meaning of that picture which you have depicted by words.....

Comment Quoting Yehuda Amichai...

The minute I heard my first love story,
I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was.
Lovers don't finally meet somewhere.
They're in each other all along.

Loneliness does mean that the love holds you, the poet hard!

Comment Solitude is a bliss, if you think from a philosophical point of view, but a curse considered from a physical point of view. Debalina, you are deling neither a philosophical nor a physical pont of view. Your sun does not dawn nor sets in the sky. Yours is a silent fairyland, I believe.
