Professorship earned him reputation.
Business made him well off;
but downslide went values in the family.
His daughters adored him.
There were suitors for his sons.
But the sons-daughters-in-law combine
wrecked his house.
Looks, man should never want much.
Give your children too much,
they will spoil the house.
Like birds feed their chicks
and make them fly,
man should emulate them.
As Shankaracharya said:
Who is your wife
and who, your son!
