I'm Thy Guest

I'm Thy guest
For a few days,
And I do my best
To learn Thy ways:
How do You control
This mind-boggling show,
And what's my role,
I'd love to know.

I'm Thy guest -
Everything You provide;
Cosy is my nest;
Comfortable is my ride;
I view Thy beauty
All around me,
And I do Thy duty,
Whatever it may be.

I'm Thy guest,
And I thank Thee;
I can attest
This world I see
Has a maker who
Has a loving heart -
You are beyond view
But we aren't apart.
