Dawn comes,
and the sun breaks through the clouds,
without a fight it shares its light,
with each ray it breathes life anew,
Sometimes it may scorch and starve,
But to the icy pole it speaks relief.
So if I ever stop,
Like the sun to share my love,
To speak hope and say the truth,
If I turn cold and forget myself,
Just hold my hand my dear friend,
And I will break through the cloud,
If only to shine one more day.
