Maya

Maya is when
We know
Deep within
We are all
Bare, bony,
Scary, ugly
Skeletons…

Yet we fall
For the
Outer layer
Of body
Beautiful,
Face graceful,
Smile wonderful
Eyes bountiful…
Behaviour
Tactful –
That makes the
Whole nature
Of our life
So flimsy,
Conceited
And deceitful!

Yet,
That’s the only way
We make our
Mundane life
So livable, breathable
And enjoyable :)

Maybe
It’s a
Coping mechanism
By which we ignore
The all-pervading
Biting reality,
And embrace
The encompassing
Surreality…

Excellent. But it is quite different from Rajender Krishna Ji's poem "Maya".We
all are affected with this Maya.Tulsi Krit Ram charit Manas says, "Shiv Chaturanan dhekh darahin. Apar jeev kihin lekhe mahin." In this world there is nothing except God and His Maya.We must beg for His mercy to save from
His maya and release from birth ,death and rebirth again & again.He may accept it or not , it is depends on His desire.We are very helpless in this matter.We can make prayer to Him.Thank you very much for nice creation.I
always expect from you to write some weighty poem like this.A lot of thanks
again.
