Early baby Sun
Comes and washes
The sky vast in the
Colour golden.
On late February mornings,
It looks cute glowing as a
Red disc in the vault,
Hanging beautifully
On the waking earth;
The flight of birds
In semi-circle,
Flying against this
Orange backdrop
Appears like an enchanting scroll
Of the Chinese calligraphy,
Fluttering in the air,
Or,
Like a pregnant Haiku,
Heralding the day,
In brief.
