If someone loses some opportunity
it is for that person's own shortcomings
and not wholly because of others' conspiracy.
For, opportunity knocks at the doors of the pure,
and the uncorrupted.
The corrupt and the cheat cannot brave an honest
dispensing selfless opportunity.
This is fate.
Rustic grandma, full of common wisdom
taught early in life:
one who would brave would survive.
Opportunists do not live.
They soon get devoid of opportunities
which the pure, the uncorrupt and the kind provide.
Not for nothing it is said:
Honesty is the best policy.
For one near,
when the person does not treat you so,
you can only sigh,
for he will spurn your overtures
and come to his own peril,
having thought he could fool you.
But somebody keeps track of every move
by every person.
The cheat will soon know that!
