I wait for everything that happens or nothing.
Nothing happens.
Happenings lie curdled inside dark,
steely rocks that frame outside into dungeons, pitfalls.
I wait for happenings
that have a place in birds' nests
and the eye hawk like pounces on that,
which is not happening in curvaceous lines
of instant happenings.
